The Bugle Babes

Singing the Billboard hits from the Golden Eras of Swing and Jive, the Bugle Babes are a 1940’s style close-harmony trio, inspired by The Andrews Sisters and the Hollywood stars of stage and screen. Whether adorned in retro military uniforms of soft satin dresses, the Bugle Babes style is pure Vintage from their Victory Rolls all the way down to the toes of their seamed stockings!

Formed by Derby Browne in 2007, The Bugle Babes have performed all over Ireland from The National Concert Hall to the Cork Opera House, and on Radio and Television; including The Late Late Show, Ryan Turbidy (who later quoted: “Your are wasted on the radio!”), and to “Knock ’em dead!” reviews at the American Embassy on Veterans Day! The Shadow Shakers

Dublin-based Rockin’Billy Swing Band full of dark energy, sassiness and shakes. Think of a mix of Elvis, Wanda Jackson, Stray Cats and originals. Set up in 2017 with guitarist Foxy Murphy, bassist Willo O’Brien and drummer Buzz Wilde, Truly and her Boys played their rockin’ socks off all over the country. In 2019 they launched their album “Gimme Whatcha Got” which is still available through the Shop. It was named “Best Car Driving Album” by Ann-Marie Kelly of Midlands FM. The band is still available for gigs on request.

The New Cafe Orchestra

In November 2023, ‘Stolen Chicken’ relaunched as ‘The New Cafe Orchestra’, proudly carrying the torch from the original 90’s group ‘The Cafe Orchestra’. Featuring some of the original band members, but also with new additions, this music collective is waiting in the Wings to launch their first album early 2024, and then take the stage at a festival or theatre near you!
